IDP Ingenieria Y Arquitectura Iberia Sl is an innovative and multidisciplinary SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) with services ranging from civil & infrastructure engineering, environmental sciences, ICT to project management & consultancy. With six offices between Spain and Latin America, IDP currently consists of a team of 150 professionals working nationally and internationally in multidisciplinary projects in Electrical and Control Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Waste Treatment and Environmental Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Chemical, Civil and Structural engineers, Architects and Project Managers.

FERROCARRILS DE LA GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA

Ferrocarrils De La Generalitat De Catalunya is the regional railways company operating suburban train lines. It is a public company created on September 5, 1979 to run the railway lines in the geographical framework of Catalonia and which is not part of the RENFE network. FGC’s mission is to manage with efficiency the services and infrastructures that have assigned to it as public company with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the mobility in Catalunya and to offer profitable leisure services to the public, in accordance with customer expectations. Main goals are improving services and operations to support better decision making, help reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and improve efficiency.

CONSORCI CENTRE D’INNOVACIO DEL TRANSPORT

CIMNE, International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engeneering, is a research centre created in 2001 as a consortium between the Generalitat de Catalunya (Autonomous Government of Catalonia) and Barcelona Tech (UPC, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). Its main aim is to generate knowledge on transportation and to transfer it to society. CENIT was the first research centre on transportation to be created in Spain and its team is made up of multidisciplinary researchers and a five-person supporting team.

TEKNOLOGIAN TUTKIMUSKESKUS VTT OY

Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (VTT) is a state owned and controlled non-profit limited liability company established by law (8761/2014). VTT carries out research and innovation activities with the mandate and mission to support economic competitiveness, societal development and innovation, for the needs of industry and knowledge-based society. In 2013, VTT’s turnover was 279 million €, with highly educated personnel of 2600.

MACOMI

Macomi is a spin-off of Delft University of Technology, based in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Macomi was founded by three PhD researchers in 2011 with the intention of bringing the latest academic developments on simulation and optimization software to companies and other institutes. To achieve this Macomi works together with several international universities in Europe and United States of America. Furthermore, most employees at Macomi have worked in the academic world for many year and have received their PhD.
Macomi is specialized in simulation based decision support systems and predictive analytics.

VIAS Y CONSTRUCCIONES

VIAS Y Construcciones is a construction firm that belongs to one of the world’s largest construction and services groups (ACS group), with over 80 years’ experience. Bedeschi S.P.A. is specialized in all kinds of cargo handling equipment and has been in existence since 1908 and is located in Italy. Bedeschi is a leading supplier of machinery and services to bulk material handling and mining industries with specific focus on handling difficult materials as sticky coal and clay or dry mining and abrasive material like iron ore and other minerals. In addition to traditional brick and tile manufacturing equipment, Bedeschi’s products cover a full range of bulk handling solutions and a complete line of crushing equipment.

CONTSHIP ITALIA S.P.A.

Contship Italia S.P.A. is a global company leader in container terminal logistics. It was founded by Italian Angelo Ravano, and originally it was part of Contship Containerlines, that was specialized in maritime transport and, in particular, container transport all over the world. It has been active in La Spezia from 1971, where there was the creation of the first Italian private container terminal. In 1997, Contship Containerlines was sold to CP Ships Group and, in 1999, Eurokai – Amburg became the main shareholder of Contship Italia, whose main core business can be summarized in the management of maritime and inland terminals. Contship was one of the first pioneers of   containerization and transport to and from East Asian countries and currently it has the largest and widespread intermodal network in terms of Maritime and Inland Container Terminals and transport organization in Italy.

AUTORITA DI SISTEMA PORTUALE DEL MAR LIGURE ORIENTALE

The Port Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea coordinates, promotes and enhance port operations of two ports: the Port of La Spezia and the port of Marina di Carrara. The Port of La Spezia is one of the most important container ports in the Med. In Italy it’s the second port in importance for direct call services and for serving the north Italian markets: this thanks to its technology, efficiency, quality of services and constant innovation. The port today is involved and operates successfully in different commodities: container traffic, liquid & dry bulk and general cargoes as well. The terminal’s main aim is to serve the domestic Italian market.

ZARZAD NADBALTYCKICH INICJATYW KLASTROWYCH

Zarzad Nadbaltyckich Inicjatyw Klastrowych is a formal coordinator of “North-South” Logistics & Transport Cluster from Poland. ZNIK is a SME and is the formal coordinator of the Cluster, because clusters in Poland don’t have a legal form (national regulations). It is a non-profit private body. The Cluster is registered in the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. The “North-South” Logistics & Transport Cluster is a 3 years old organisation with 53 members focusing on logistics and electric mobility industry. The Cluster is an innovation-oriented organization with a significant potential to develop a co-operation between businesses, R+D institutions and local governments.
